FAQ

Q. Why are Rip-Tie CableWrap expensive?

A. Actually they aren't expensive when you compare them to the value they give in exchange but we hear this question from people who aren't familiar with Rip-Ties.

First, they are sewn by skilled human beings, not heat bonded by a machine.

Second, we use the best quality Hook & Loop available. Best quality materials mean a longer lasting product.

Third, we have a patented design, which includes a nylon tie, for permanent attachment to your cable, four punch holes to accommodate different cable diameters, and a pull tab for easy use. No one else makes a product with all of these features.

Q.
Where can I buy a Rip-Tie?

A. We hope at your nearby local distributor where you will get personal service and can order any colors or sizes that they may not have in stock. See Find Distributors page to go to our distributor directory. We continue to grow by working with distributors in a wide variety of markets - Electronics, Music, Audio-Video, Broadcasting, Security, Industrial Hardware, DJ supply, and on and on (19 at last count!). We try to match you with someone who is either local, who knows your type of business and who you might already have an account with.

We are happy to drop ship directly to you if your distributor does not have what you need in stock. Don't let anyone tell you that "they don't have it in stock"

Q.
Can I get my name printed on a CableWrap?

A. Yes. Please see our Custom Logo Page.

Q.
How do I become a Rip-Tie distributor?

A. Please see our Reseller page.

Q.
What are the differences between the CableWrap, EconoWrap, and Rip-Tie Lite?

A.
  • The original Rip-Tie CableWrap is designed for heavy use, and will last for 10,000 release cycles. It will remain permanently attached to your cable with the enclosed nylon wire tie.

  • The Rip-Tie EconoWrap is designed for users who do not require the heavy duty use of the Original Rip-Tie CableWrap. It will last for 1,000 release cycles.

  • The Rip-Tie Lite is designed for semi-permanent use with a cycle life of 200-300 release cycles.
